Spanish Course for Erasmus students in Spain

Will you be studying at the University of Alcalá de Henares through the ERASMUS program or another type of exchange program?

Are you prepared for your semester abroad in Spain? Do you need additional language practice? Or do you need practical information about living in Spain?

Escuela Internacional offers a Spanish course for university students in the ERASMUS exchange program or any other exchange program who come to Spain for the 2009 / 2010 academic year.

The course consists of 3 lessons per week of 90 minutes each on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. With this course you will acquire the necessary knowledge and Spanish language practice you need in order to become immersed in Spanish culture and the university campus where you will study.

The price is just 50€ per week!

 What life lis like in Spain. Phrases and conversations related to burocratic issues with the university and your studies. Expressing obligation.

 Presentations, phrases and conversations related to personal issues. Past tense.

 Apartment rental, contract services (telephone, Internet, gas, electricity,…). Negotiation in Spanish.

 Colloquial phrases and expressions and social protocol. Probability. Subjuntive. Future.

 Vocabulary and phrases related to directions (straight ahead, turn left, at the third street,….)

10-12 Nov.
 Ask for favors. Give explanations. Discuss a point of view. Present a topic to an audience.

 Events, news items: Compound sentances (finales, condicionales, consecutivas y concesivas). Newspapers and magazines.

 Today I'm having dinner with my boss. Advice and recommendations. Protocol.

 Business vocabulary. Business relations. Mode, comparison, indirect style

 Impersonal phrases and sentances. Oraciones coordinadas. Oraciones sustantivas.

Schedule for the course is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 16:20-17:50 h.

Enrolment Conditions

This course is offered at the Escuela Internacional location in Alcalá de Henares.

Enrol before 18:00 h. the Thursday before the week you want to study. You can sign up for the individual weeks you are interested in.

Important:

In the case that only one student is enrolled for a certain week, the student will have individual lesson of 50 minutes per day, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 16:20-17:10 h.
