Spanish Courses in Tamarindo, Costa
Rica
 Learn Spanish with the variety of Spanish language courses offered
at our Spanish language schools in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. The classes start every
Monday of the year. We currently have 9 different levels of Spanish courses, all
of which are taught in Spanish. The maximum class size is 6 people per class.
Normally classes will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. During peak times of the
year, the school will also run class in the afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to
5:00 p.m. Classes are held Monday through Friday.
There are various types of Spanish
language courses which include:

Standard Intensive Spanish language courses:
Composed
of a a combination of conversational grammar and practical conversation
and/or lectures.

Super Intensive Spanish language course:
The perfect
Spanish program for someone who prefers a more intensive course. The format
is the same as the Standard Program. The difference is that under this
option you will receive an additional 2 hours per day of instruction in the
afternoon. Courses are held from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to
3:00 p.m.

Individual Spanish language courses:
If you have
little time available or prefer something very intensive, then please
consider taking private courses. If you are taking a group class and would
like to add a few hours per day to your class this is also possible.

Spanish language + Surfing Classes!:
This course
follows the same program as the standard Intensive Spanish course in the
mornings. Surf Portion: Surf board
rental is included in the cost of the program. The first 2 weeks you will
receive (in addition to the board rental) 6 hours of surf instruction. Surf
classes are provided by local surf professionals. On weeks 3 and 4 you will
also get one surf trip to a location outside of Tamarindo.

A typical first day at school
Intensive Course:
7:30 am: Placement test
8:00 - 10:00 am: Grammar applied
10:00 - 10:20 am: Coffee break
10:20 - 12:00: Conversation
12:00 noon: Lunch break
Super-Intensive and Combined Intensive + Individual Programs:
7:30 am: Placement test
8:00 - 10:00 am: Grammar applied
10:00 - 10:20 am: Coffee break
10:20 - 12:00: Conversation
12:00 noon: Lunch break
1:00 - 3:00 pm: Review of grammar, Conversation and vocabulary building
activities

Surf lessons are in the afternoons. You will be advised of the schedule and
location at the school.
